Mr. Joseph C. Montana, Jr., also known as Joe, is the Founder, General Partner and Managing Partner of Liquid 2 Ventures. Mr. Montana is a Founding Partner of MVP Performance Institute LLC. Mr. Montana has been the Advisory Director of Lighting Science Group Corporation since October 2010. He owns Montana Property Group and operates the Four Rings Montana Family Foundation. Mr. Montana served as Managing Member of Champion Ventures. He enjoyed an illustrious 16-year career with the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. A Master of late-game comebacks, he directed his teams to 31 fourth quarter come-from-behind wins during his career. He served as Vice Chairman and Director of Modern Bank, N.A. He represents a wide variety of companies as a celebrity Spokesman, including Adidas, Coors, Flex-All, Hanes, Samsung Camera and UltimateBid.com. He served as a Director of iGPS Company, LLC. He served as Director of Lighting Science Group Corporation from January 2010 to October 2010. He is best known as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the National Football League. Starting in 1979, he played fourteen seasons for the San Francisco 49ers, winning four Super Bowl Championships, and then two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2000, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Mr. Montana received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
